Why do I need a peel ?
Our skin naturally exfoliates, gently shedding dead skin cells so subtly that most of us dont even notice. However, as we age, this process tends to slow, resulting in a dull complexion
Chemical peels speed up the exfoliation process, encouraging cell turnover that leaves the skin looking fresh and healthy.
Ingredients in a peel solution are also working to create new cells that function properly, not only visibly improving the skin, but correcting from within.
Who can have The Perfect Peel?
It is an inclusive peel that can be safely used across all Fitzpatrick scale types
How long does it take?
The peel requires no period of skin preparation, takes 15 minutes to apply, and after less than a week of downtime skin tone, texture and elasticity is visibly improved.
We recommend stopping use of Retinol 2 weeks prior to the peel. In addition patients on roacctuane must stop use after 6
months prior to treatment in order to achieve desired results.
How many peels do I need?
This depends on what skin concern you are trying to address. You can get good results in just 1 peel.
When treating acne, scarring and pigmentation concerns you will usually require 3 or 4 peels, one month apart.
How much will I peel?
Patients will experience peeling throughout days 3-6 and will be completely finished with the peeling process by day 7.
